Beach Brew Coffee

Hi! If you're reading this you might be interested in what I've built for Beach Brew. I'm glad you're here, as this is quite the passion project of mine. Beach Brew is a seasonal coffee company located on the beaches of South Jersey. We operate a few cafes, but more interestingly, we sell iced coffee on various beaches! On a typical day in the summer we have between 15–25 coffee carts spread across the beaches of 4 towns. It's quite the operation.

This business model has endless potential for technological optimizations, which I have been slowly building over the years throughout college, and even more now as I attempt to grow the business full time.

Over the years, I've used Beach Brew as a vehicle to learn how to build software.

A few years ago, I started with a super basic WinForms sales tracking app. Today, we have a modern Next.js web app that handles sales tracking, automatic scheduling, beach zone assignments, time clocking automations, and various other tools to help our managerial staff in our day to day operations.

Currently, I'm working on an internal app for employees and managers to streamline some previously tedious processes, and also set us up to allow employees to review their shifts and find ways to improve performance.
